After the start of the current wave of protests in the city of Sweida on August 17, 2023, the Syrian regime arrested several dissenting voices in the Syrian coastal region. These voices had escalated their demands following the Sweida protests and even before, raising many questions about the regime's fear of these voices on one hand, and the prospects and possibilities of uprising in the Syrian coast on the other. This investigation aims to shed light on these issues.
