For two years, I contributed to the print edition of Enab Baladi, an independent, non-profit Syrian media organization founded in 2011. Published weekly since January 29, 2012, the newspaper became a free voice against the former regime and a model for independent print journalism, before returning to Damascus after more than ten years. In my role, I coordinated visual materials with field correspondents and contributed to the newspaper’s page layout.
